WIP

Well... so much for expecting new things... I haven't done much on the Mac. But that's because I was waiting for a drawing programme. I'm still waiting so I downloaded a demo.

However, I have started working on this pic... here's the lineart. It's Prince Tim, Ramone and Ethan going for a swim. I'm colouring this pic at the moment, and sticking in a shiny new background.

In case you are not aware, these three are characters from a fairytale comic I am working on.

iMac

I have just bought a brand spanking new beautiful iMac with a 20" HD widescreen.

Oooohhh... expect good things...

Schmexy

Here is Ethan in a stretchy pose. This is probably the most 'flattering' pic I'll ever draw of him. As he's a goblin and all. I just drew it 'case all my friends on DeviantArt have 'sexy' male characters that they can draw in 'sexy' poses. And I don't. I seem to like drawing my characters with physical imperfections.
Ethan is a character from a 'fairytale' themed comic I'm working on at the moment.

Commission - GGYSH

That stands for The 'Great' Great Yarmouth Scavenger Hunt.

I was asked by my friend who organises this barmy event to design a character as their kind of 'mascot', I suppose. Something they can stick on t-shirts and thingies.

I was told they wanted it to be a non-human character and in black and white. So I had a look at different 'scavenging' type animals, like raccoons, coyotes, vultures, foxes and rats, and I sketched a few.

This is the character I finally came up with...

For more info, so far GGSH has this blog, www.greatgreatyarmouthscavhunt.blogspot.com. But they are working on other things, like a Facebook group and when that's up I'll post a link.

Work Doodles

Every day that I am work, I manage to churn out a 'work doodle' in one of my work notebooks. I can't really go into detail about my job here, but it does not usually involve any kind of drawing.
I was up to number 33 today. I'm going to post them on here so they can be seen. They will be on my website, but only updated perhaps monthly. The website itself needs to be re-launched yet anyway.
So here are the first 5...

Work Doodle 1 - Steve
The work doodle that started it all. Oooh you can see my tally chart from that day...

Work Doodle 2 - Magician Frog

Work Doodle 3 - Some crazy-looking bloke

Work Doodle 4 - Rorschach

Work Doodle 5 - Ethan

Ethan is a goblin character from my upcoming Fairytale comic.

Bubble

When I was litte, I used to tell people that I was an alien and that I came down to Earth in a bubble. Thought it'd be appropriate to post this on my 'birthday'. Just under one hour left...

This pic started life as one of my Work Doodles.

Wolverine

Thought I would share a recent pic I drewed. Is Wolverine, in anticipation for the new movie... which I am hearing bad things about. Have yet to see it myself. I likes Wolverine.

Here We Go...

So... I have MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and a personal website and thought perhaps that I should have a blog.... just like everyone else.
The thing is RSS feeds seem to be the way to go to keep people interested in your *stuff*. I'm re-vamping my website and there isn't really a way for people to know that I've updated it (when I come to update it, it's all been ripped down and being built up from the foundations again at the moment). So I thought a blog would compliment the website well, keeping people up to date with artsy things I'm doing.
And this is going to be an arsty-themed blog. I could go on for ages about things I get up to in my day to day life, but I'll leave that to the 140 characters of Twitter posts. Keep it bite-size and easy to digest.
